奥行きと広がりのあるプログレッシヴサウンドを得意とし、心の琴線に触れるような独特のメロディセンスを持つアーティスト。Tin5ha(ティンシャ)とは二つの金属の円盤を当て合って音を鳴らす打楽器。その透明な響きは、空間を瞬時に優しくリセットすると同時に新たな波を促すという。 2000年よりPCを用いた音楽製作を開始。Solarstoneの往年の名曲「Solarcoaster」やTiestoが手がけるMix CDシリーズ「In Search Of Sunrise」などのバレアリックサウンドに感化されながら個性を磨いて行った。 2005年、Sevensenses recordings主宰のDJ Matsunagaに才能を見出されFavor名義でデビュー。日本のトランスシーンの早期からクラブでのプレイにも耐えうるハイクオリティの楽曲を発表し続け、Favor名義の活動を通してシーンの発展に大きく貢献。2008年には「Sunset Coast」がTiestoによってプレイされる等の快挙を果たした。 それ以降活動を休止していたが、2011年に3年の充電期間を経てOtographic Musicに移籍。Tin5haとして新たなスタートを踏み出した。復帰後の第一作「Clear Blue Sky」ではより磨きがかかった作曲技術とメロディセンスを示し、続いて2012年に発表した「Remember The Sunset / NE.JI.MA.KI」はBeatportのTranceリリースチャート第一位にランクイン。生まれ変わったTin5haのサウンドは、国内外の両方で確固たる評価を獲得しつつある。 Tin5ha’s sound brings you emotional and expansive sounds which pluck the heartstrings of you. The name “Tin5ha” derives from the percussive musical instrument “Tingsha”, it sounds by bumping two metallic disk. Its transparent echoes reset a space gently and quickly, and stimulate a new wave at the same time. In 2000, Tin5ha began to produce tracks by using PC. Influenced by balearic sounds such as Solarstone’s “Solarcoaster” and Tiesto’s “In Search of Sunrise” series, Tin5ha improved his senses and production skills. In 2005, DJ Matsunaga from Sevensenses recordings found Tin5ha’s exeptional talent and Tin5ha started his activities using his old alias “Favor”. Tin5ha continuously provided tracks to compilations of Sevensenses, and one of his masterpiece “Sunset Coast” has supported by Tiesto. However, in 2008 he went silent for a while. After three years of charging time, he started musical activities again in Otographic Music in the alias of Tin5ha. Through the interval, he refined and evolved his skills and senses such as balearic arrangements and emotional melodies. The comeback release “Clear Blue Sky” showed both his continuous originalities from Favor’s sounds and his forward-thinking attempts. Then the following release “Remember The Sunset / NE.JI.MA.KI” is appeared at the 1st place on the Beatport Trance Top 100 Releases. Now Tin5ha is getting solid evaluations inside and outside Japan.
