Despite his relatively young age - Weber has amassed an expansive and gilded catalogue of productions that have earned him stripes amongst Techno dignitary such as Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Charlotte de Witte, Joseph Capriati, Sam Paganini and Alan Fitzpatrick. His work has touched labels like Analytic Trail, Respekt, Phobiq, and Orange Recordings and has consistently been built from tough, functional bones, powerful drums and emotive melodies. Here - after a production hiatus - we see Don return with a recasting of his sound as he dims the lights and lines up a rough, gritty single for Kuukou. 'Listen' launches off with a nails kick that rips underneath a body of twisted, looping sonics. A jagged motif charges up a frenetic, floor-focused energy that continues to swell towards the track's breakdown. A pause for breath unfolds before the vibe re-charges and powers through until the end of a bold and brazen DJ tool.
