2009 two CD collection from Soul/Funk legend Sly Stone and his 'family'. Though his personal life may have been surrounded by controversy, there's no denying that when Sly was on form, he was mesmerizing. Blending Soul, Pop, Funk, Rock and R&B with lyrics that often confronted the nation's volatile political climate of the times, there was no stopping Sly during the late '60s and early '70s. Unfortunately, drugs and ego put an end to Sly's creativity during the latter part of the '70s but his early work remains untarnished. 30 tracks including 'Family Affair', 'Let Me Take You Higher', 'Stand!', 'Everybody Is A Star' and more.
