Pay It Forward is about finding ones identity. Through tracks 1-12 it's a process of me searching for who I am and by the end of the album I've found myself. Many people struggle finding their own identity anywhere from the early age of middle school to the end of college, and Pay It Forward is about finding yourself, accepting who you are and who you can become, and once you've found that person you're unconsciously inspiring others to do the same.
