Exactly one year ago we moved to New York City. We came with ideas, inspiration and big dreams…and some demos. This transition brought changes greater than we could of predicted, firstly: Our workspace transformed from a small bedroom to a large entire-floor recording studio, the struggle to pay rent while leaving enough time for the creative process put stress on our relationships and workflow, and the sounds + sights of New York City changed our perspective on music, why we do it and how we listen to it. This EP is a reaction to all the above. And as we scramble to make sense of it, we realize it’s just what we make it. HA! It’s Fiction.
