MAHAROLD PEOPLES, JR. & TRIBE OF PRAISE In 1996 Minister Peoples brought together an anointed group of singers he dubbed "Tribe of Praise". This aggregation of talented singers has ministered alongside such artists as Rev. John P. Kee and New Life, Jeff Majors, Elder Timothy Wright and many others. Their first CD "THE MILLENNIUM PROJECT" (2001)includes prayerful, soul-searching songs such as “He Loves Me”, “Intimate with You” and “Issues of Life”. This freshman project was said to have listeners worshiping, praising, crying and jumping! And the "Praise Anthem" is awesome. Maharold Peoples, Jr. & Tribe of Praise (TOP) completed their sophomore project in 2006, "THEORY OF EVOLUTION". Led musically and lyrically by the multi-talented Minister Peoples, TOP’s thought provoking songs such as “The Way a Man Thinketh” and “Theory of Evolution” along with inspirational selections “He Broke Me, to Bless Me” and “Faith will Work (If You Work It)” is a testament to the talent and innovation of the ensemble. TOP is not just a choir of singers creating Christian Pop. They seek to permeate the soul by giving listeners profound spiritual messages as well as exciting, rhythmic and melodious music that will minister over and over again.
