ANCOP (Answering the Cry of the Poor) is a Christian, Catholic non-profit organization that dedicates itself to proclaiming CHRIST, and the Christian faith, by uplifting the plight of the poor. Answering the Cry of the Poor (ANCOP) Mission In unity with the Catholic Church, consistent with the core values of Couples for Christ and recognizing Christ as the center of its work, ANCOP USA shares Christ’s love among the poor, uplifts their lives, restores their dignity as children of God, and transforms communities. Vision Bringing Christ’s Transforming Love to the Poor ONE HOPE ONE DREAM ANCOP USA sponsored DZMM GPSI (Global Pinoy Singing Idol) since 2011 and has since produced 6 USA Winners sent to Manila, Philippines to compete in the yearly World Caravan Global Pinoy Singing Idol Grand Championship sponsored by ABS-CBN/DZMM. GPSI USA winners Divine Aleonar (2012), Leslie Ann Picazo (2012), Jona Peralta (2013), Katrina Lopez (2013 & World Caravan Grand Champion 2014), Alessja Morales (2014) and Jing Quitain-Wenghofer (2014) have each picked two popular inspirational songs to this album and the original song One Hope One Dream (written by Egbert Francisco and Jona Peralta). One Hope One Dream is a collection of uplifting and positive songs dedicated to the victims and survivors of calamities and disasters like the devastating Super Typhoon Haiyan (the worlds most powerful typhoon in 2013) in Central Visayas, Philippines, that ravaged the islands on November 8, 2013.
