The Original recording of the backing track was a Slim Smith vocal, track titled "Give me a love". Veteran Jamaican reggae producer "Bunny Striker Lee" commissioned The Legendary vocal trio "The Blackstones" to put the same song with new vocals on his original backing track. The newer recording can be found on a cd album titled "The Blackstones Salute Slim Smith & The Uniques" recorded in The Legendary Supatech Studio London UK. The Blackstones being Jamaican traditionalist and following a Jamaican tradition in recording, wanted a DJ to inject some lyrical magic around there vocals. Veteran Jamaican DJ Lenny Banton was ask by Supatech to inject some energetic but soulfully smooth DJ overdub vocals on this project.
