Most of the score's pieces, such as "Gulf of Aden (USS Wake Island)," are rousing and martial, with a few quiet and poignant compositions like "A Hail Mary" and a few tense interludes like "Investigation." Though Isham's score is appropriate for the film, it doesn't always work outside of the screen's context.
