I Gave Up On Nashville a Long Long Time Ago

I Gave Up On Nashville a Long Long Time Ago

I was born in Alexandria, Louisiana and grew up in the farm country of Pennsylvania. After a couple of years of college, I joined the Navy and became a missile technician on a nuclear submarine. It was there that I learned to play guitar and began writing songs. Later I became an engineer, moved to Boston, and worked in the Computer business. I also owned and operated a commercial recording studio. After recording hundreds of demos for bands, I decided to start recording my own original tunes and became a country singer. Shortly thereafter, I moved to Albuquerque, NM. To date, I have written over 900 songs and produced eight albums showcasing my music. My latest CD, "Skeletons in My Closet," recently completed a successful promotional campaign in fifteen countries. In late April of 2012, I was featured as the artist of the day on Daddy’O Radio’s “The Country Trail Mix show.” I will also be featured in early June, 2012 on the same show. My music has been used in documentaries, corporate slide shows, weddings and I have produced dozens of commercials/jingles for radio and TV in the Boston area. My Christmas song, "Christmas in New England," is played by major symphonies in the New England area during the holiday season. I write in a number of venues including: Country, Rock, Pop, Folk and Blues. I have written songs that address a wide variety of topics including fifty two songs documenting historical events experienced by the US Navy Submarine Service during the Cold War. Most of these are available at CD Baby, iTunes and amazon.com. Currently I’m writing and recording a new country album and expects to release it before the end of the year. I also plan to release a singles every so often prior to the album’s debut. I am a member of ASCAP and the Soundexchange.
