Lambert Coateston born in the city of Montego Bay, Parish of St. James, where he attended Montego Bay Secondary High School. While in high school, he discovered his talent and love for music. After high school, Phantom pursued a full time career in music, where he was traveling back and forth to Kingston doing dub plates,and in studio recording, he recorded his first single on the rock star label titled: No Approach, shortly after he recorded a second single on the top rank label titled : (Bubbler in a Dance and Soft in a Bed). Phantom gained recognition both in Jamaica and aboard, after his third and forth single: (Matie Show Flop) (Chicken Back Too Sweet), he migrated to the U.S, where he was signed to MCA Records for 3 years. Phantom performed with some of the biggest acts like D'Angelo, Mary J. Blidge, Vesta Williams, Excape, Brownstone ETC and in Jamaica acts like Beenie Man, Elephant Man, Wayne Wonder, Maxi Priest, Beres Hammond, Lukie D, ETC. After the split of MCA, Phantom started his own Production Company(Spectors Entertainment), where he's the CEO/President also CO/Founder and president of Caribbean Children Aids, a non-profit organization. Phantom resides in Detroit, Michigan and is recording on his own record label(Spectors Entertaintment) his new cd in stores, it contains 13 tracks.
