Introducing- Murphy & co, A Gospel Folk band with a difference that combines heartfelt songwriting and dynamic vocals. The band consists of Anna and Alex Murphy and sons Paul and David. This, their debut album “Love Is”, weaves a thread of honest and relevant reflection on themes of love, faith and hope. Alex, Anna Paul and David, from Lisburn, enjoy singing and their mellow blend of harmonies could be reminiscent of Mumford & Sons. The family also plays guitar, accordion, banjo and keyboards. Previously Alex and Anna sang as a duo. Paul has been a member of the Songwriters circle in Lisburn and has performed alongside Duke Special and other local talent on a “BBC Music Live” broadcast. For years David has been encouraging young people in singing and drama through his role as a youth leader. From Anna's Folk tinged Gospel anthems to Alex's new Country vibe, David's Soul and Paul's Alternative Country, there really is something for everyone.
