This CD is a disappointment. Many of the selections use unimaginative funk rhythms and Berg (on tenor and soprano) comes across as an anonymous blending of Ernie Watts and Michael Brecker . In addition, this has to be about the dumbest version of "Can't Help Lovin' That Man" that has ever been recorded. There are some good solos from Berg here and there but not enough to justify the purchase of this set.
